Foreword to v1.1/2016
Let us continue our exploration of best networking practices as a conceptual alternative to the social networks, with this CMS-enabled FAQ forum aimed at solving the feedback problem in general, using WordPress in particular. I will start with the self-explaining matrix which frames all discussions lists of this website:
- The first header menu, which starts with the Feedback homepage, provides an overview of the state in the art in moderating a Feedback board pertaining to the conceptual presentation of a self-authored Webfolio (one website : one post : one moderated discussions list).
- The second header menu, titled WordPress, allows you to consider the same problematic from the more pragmatic perspective of an audit of the WordPress.org environment, as provided by OVH as a building block of its shared web hosting packages.
- The left sidebar provides an overview of the discussions lists which currently make the headlines of this website, featuring popular posts (star icon), and recent comments (speech bubbles icon).
- The right sidebar enables you to browse these discussions boards by language (categories), by year of publication of the websites made available for written feedback (tags), and by recently added lists (archives).
Finally, the top search bar provides for more targeted consultation of the underlying knowledge base (you can see for yourself by search for the terms FAQ, folio, and netplusultra for example), whereas the footer area of each page delivers the usual contact, design, update, and last minute information.
